In the templecourts he found men selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting attables exchanging money.  So he made awhip out of cords, and drove all from the temple area, both sheep and cattle;he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.  To those who sold doves he said, \u201cGet these out of here!  How dare you turn my Father\u2019s house into amarket!\u201d  His disciples rememberedthat it is written:  Zeal for your housewill consume me.  Then the Jews demandedof him, \u201cWhat miraculous sign can you show us to prove your authority to do allthis?\u201d  Jesus answered them, \u201cDestroy this temple, and I will raise itagain in three days.\u201d  The Jewsreplied, \u201cIt has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are goingto raise it in three days?\u201d  But thetemple he had spoken of was his body.
